The attorneys
and staff of Murphy Law Office, PLLC are dedicated to enriching
the community. In 2001, 2002 and 2003, the staff participates in the Buckaroo
Breakfast, and event to raise funds for the Caldwell Chamber of
Commerce. In September of 2002, Murphy Law Office, PLLC sponsored
the Friday breakfast. The attorneys and staff, along with their
spouses, donned aprons and helped serve hundreds of people breakfast
as part of the Caldwell Night Rodeo.
In 2002 and
2003 Michaelina
Murphy organized a program to help provide Christmas to over 100
children. The program was coordinated with Snake River Elementary
in Nampa, and paired up businesses with families in need. The
outpouring of support form the community has ensured that the
program will continue for years to come.
As president
of the Third District Bar in 2002-2003, Michaelina Murphy has
committed herself to promoting excellence in the Third District,
and to providing programs to the citizens of Canyon County. Once
such program is Law Day. Law Day is a program that brings attorneys
into the classrooms of Gem, Payette, Washington, Owyhee, and Canyon
Counties.
We helped
organize the continuing legal education program for attorneys
in the Third District. This program helps to educate attorneys
as to foundational issues in the law, as well as recent developments
in various areas of legal practice.
In 2001
Murphy Law Office, PLLC was given an award by Caldwell Optimist
Club for its participation in Business Relations.
In 2004
Michaelina Murphy was presented with the 2004 Accomplished under
forty award sponsored by the Idaho Business Review.
In 2005
Michaelina Murphy was awarded the Denise O'Donnell-Day Pro Bono
Award.

Beth
Rountree is the Citizen's Law Academy Coordinator for 2003. The
Citizen's Law Academy is a program that 20-30 Canyon County
residents an opportunity to learn from judges, attorneys, and
community leaders. The program is run entirely on donated time and
money, and is supplied at no cost to participants.
