Beth Rountree
Beth Rountree
joined Murphy Law Office, PLLC as a paralegal in July 2002. She
provides support to attorneys by performing legal research, drafting
pleadings and discovery, preparation of business entity documents,
review and analysis of medical records, case management, witness
interviews, contact with clients and case experts, and trial preparation.
Her previous experience includes professional malpractice defense
and insurance defense practice, appellate practice and business
litigation with Albertson's Inc. Corporate Office in Boise.
Beth has a
B.S. in Political Science (1992) and a certificate in Paralegal
Studies (1995) from Boise State University. Beth is a former adjunct
faculty member in Boise State University's Paralegal Program.
Since 1997, Beth has served on the Advisory Board for the Legal
Assistant Program. Beth was a contributing author for the article
Importance of the Office Environment: What to Tell the May Graduates
published in April 2002 in The Paralegal Educator, a Publication
of the American Association for Paralegal Education.
A member of
the Idaho Association of Paralegals, Inc. since 1996, Beth served
three terms as President of the Association and has served as
Vice President of Education, Vice President of Membership and
as a Board Advisor. Her other professional affiliations include
service as a layman volunteer for the Idaho State Bar Fee Arbitration
Board, volunteering with the Idaho Volunteer Lawyers Program and
assisting with the Third District Bar Association's Citizen's
Law Academy in 2003 and 2004.
